Think large, think Samsung

Samsung’s range of large format monitors has been nothing short of a revelation, particularly when one sees how the numerous innovations have helped in raising the bar as far as the experience of working on a PC is concerned. To begin with, the Samsung LFD can adjust its brightness levels as per the surrounding light, which means that images will not only be as true to life as they possibly can, they would also not put pressure on the viewer’s eyes. Also, one will be eco-friendly and substantially save on energy costs, resulting in a win-win situation.

Samsung LFDs are also extremely durable and dust resistant, as the corner sealing design, screw and user hole sealing, and double layer structure ensure that the monitor stays free from any kind of trouble that may arise due to surrounding factors. Further, one can also create a professional digital display without purchasing any extra equipment, since Samsung LFDs come with a display port that provides better connectivity and more advanced display interface. Just by using an adapter, one can connect the PC, television or monitor via a DVI or HDMI cable, which is twice in length compared to standard cables, resulting in better reach, so that a much more enhanced and powerful display can be achieved.

View change with Samsung monitors

Samsung monitors have been an essential part of all kinds of personal computers for many years, and the advancement continues with large format monitors, which take it to the next level in so many ways. To begin with, in case one wants to go for a firmware upgrade, to stay in tune with the times, that is extremely easy with Samsung large format monitors, as the transmission can be achieved via an image file through a DVI, HDMI or display port. One can perform upgrades using a direct connection to the PC. Clarity is also a forte of Samsung large format monitors, and it continues to be the case even when the surroundings are brightly lit. Reflections that affect readability are obviated, and all images are as visible as can be. Also, the DID panel has fantastic illumination and contrast levels, making the Samsung large format monitors 50% brighter than regular TV screens.

The DVI out interface in Samsung large format monitors allows the user to share content between different large format displays (LFDs) with a video matrix that is extremely easy to connect. The digital loop out produces a single image without loss of quality, and does not require connection to a PC, as is usually the case.

Discover computing with a new vision

Samsung's 460MXN network monitor offers a whole new world of possibilities that can make even the most basic PC configurations come to life and live up to their true potential. The most innovative among its features is its ability to address the problem of screen burn-in, which is certainly a point of major concern. There are 3 kinds of anti-burn protection offered by Samsung plasma monitors:

·         Single Pattern Process removes black and silver strips from the right to left of the screen.
·         All White Function refreshes the plasma's cell, and changes the screen to all white.
·         Auto Pixel Shift shifts 3-4 pixels as per the following order - right, top, left, bottom. The movement is not visible since it's only a few pixels out of the thousands, but the number of pixels and moving period can be chosen in the OSD menu.

The colours are also brighter with the DNIe Pro technology, which ensures better and clearer images, while the Flexible Pivot feature allows a person to view a vertical image or text without scrolling the mouse, giving more flexibility and supporting presentations made in the portrait mode. The monitor also supports PIP (Picture In Picture) and PBP (Picture By Picture) mode to simultaneously view images from two different sources.
